Projects

Integrating Vision, Research, and Architecture

As a practice, we prioritize not only the preservation of historical and cultural narratives, but seek to also reinterpret and integrate the heritage relevance of every project into the present with future projections.

Beni-A Residence – Accra

2017, Design – 2023 Completion

A modern family home that merges traditional Ghanaian compound house principles with a minimalist vertical design. Built in close collaboration with the client, it prioritizes versatility and contextual responsiveness. Its limewashed compressed earth blocks and exposed tropical hardwood structure reflect a thoughtful use of local materials and craftsmanship. The project balances indoor-outdoor living, improves microclimate through natural ventilation, and offers adaptable spaces that support evolving family life.

LoopHaus – Shai Hills

2025

In collaboration with Arc. Akosua S. Obeng – The first type-form of our collaborative project of a series of regenerative & circular-living residential typologies in Ghana. LoopHaus goes beyond a building — it’s a philosophy of circularity, regeneration, and ecological sensitivity rooted in nature and cultural identity. Grounded in the Ghanaian concepts of “Eban” (sustainable shelter) and “Kyinkyim” (adaptability), the project conceptualizes the household as a dynamic system in harmony with its surroundings.

Eco-Festival Resort – Akwidaa

2020

Set along the coastal edges of Akwidaa, this retreat celebrates community, creativity, and nature through a sustainably designed haven for cultural exchange, camping, and the performing arts. The central creativity garden anchors the site’s communal experience, blending open-air versatility with the intimacy of sheltered spaces. Designed pathways connect visitors to camping zones within the natural vegetation, enhancing the sense of immersion. The project invites guests to engage with local traditions through shared activities, fostering meaningful exchange and eco-conscious living.

CT Gardens – Accra

2022

A scaled up reimagination of the Ghanaian courtyard typology as a modern residential enclave for mid-sized families. With clustered single-family homes centered around private and communal gardens, the project fosters a strong neighborhood ethos while promoting green urban living. Its passive design strategies and reduced material palette reflect a thoughtful balance of comfort, sustainability, and urban responsiveness.
